According to OA\u2019s Preamble, \u201cthere are no dues or fees for members.\u201d All are welcome at an OA meeting, as a contribution is not required. However, many of us have found that a financial contribution, no matter how small, supports our recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Seventh Tradition of OA<\/a> says: “Every OA group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.” We “pass the basket” for voluntary contributions during our meetings to pay rent for meeting space and to purchase literature. Although a suggested contribution is $5, it is never a requirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
